Invoice Quick – Security Statement.
Here at Invoice Quick, we’ve gone to extraordinary measures to ensure
your data is safe, secure and available only to you. Because we know
our customers expect the very best security, we use some of the most
advanced technology available today. Our Development team have extensive
backgrounds working in application design and database environments for
FTSE 100 Blue Chip companies, where security is vital. So, before we
even started designing Invoice Quick, we knew that security was absolutely
key. That’s why we spent a great deal of time building it in right from
scratch.
Your Card Details.
Invoice Quick does not hold your credit card details on our databases.
These details are stored exclusively by the financial organisations that
process your transactions. Our payment providers and bank have fully
checked our credentials and have approved us as secure, trustworthy and
reliable. We use SagePay (www.sagepay.com) as our chosen payment service
provider. SagePay provides secure online credit card payment solutions
for thousands of online businesses and has achieved the highest level
of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
By adhering to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, they ensure
that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process We
also use Streamline, the leading provider of merchant accounts. Their
tried and trusted technology enables us to provide our clients with a
reliable, fast and efficient service.
Technical Stuff.
We want to reassure you how we keep your data absolutely safe, so here’s
a quick look at some of our integrated security measures.
128 Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption.
When you access Invoice Quick we ensure your information is fully protected.
We use security certification to verify our identity credentials to your
internet browser. We use GeoTrust as our certification provider. This
forms part of the SSL Key handshake. Basically, SSL means that your data
is massively encrypted and scrambled when it is sent from your browser
through to us and on to our bankers. Look for the padlock symbol on your
Internet browser, and the letters ‘https:’ at the start of the web address.
SSL is a cryptographic protocol that provides secure communications on
the Internet. It allows applications to communicate across a network
in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.
Firewalls.
All the servers that your Invoicing data is stored upon are fully protected
by firewalls, ensuring your data is secure and monitored 24 hours a day.
Firewalls are dedicated pieces of hardware/software, which inspect network
traffic passing through them, and regulate the flow of information between
computer networks at different trust levels.
Backups.
If you’re storing your valuable Invoicing information on your business
computers hard disc, then you’re going to lose all that data if the disc
fails! Even if you’ve got your data tucked away in a spreadsheet or word
document, a simple corruption in the file can cause that data to be irretrievable.
With Invoice Quick, we mirror your data so backups are continuous, minute
by minute. We also backup your data on a daily basis and store it away
on separate servers. This is for your benefit, as well as ours. We want
to be able to sleep peacefully at night too!! Consequently, if you drop
your laptop or your hard drive blows up, your invoice and client data
is sitting safe and secure on our servers.
Managed hosting.
We designed Invoice Quick to make invoicing much less of a chore for
you, so you can focus on what you do best, i.e., your business. In much
the same way, our team want to focus on creating the best customer experience
for you, and we appreciate that we are not experts in managed hosting,
so we get the experts to do that for us. Our server providers utilize
the most up to date security measures to ensure the safety of data stored
on their network of servers. They deploy ‘up to the minute’ software
programs for scanning systems and networks for obtrusive invaders, spammers,
hackers, and other harmful problems such as trojans, worms and viruses
They also have uninterruptable power supplies, in-built network redundancy
and massive amounts of bandwidth to ensure you can always get to your
valuable invoicing data, wherever you are in the world.
Security Patching.
Additionally, our server team make sure that the operating systems we
use are always at the latest version, with the most up to date security
patches available. This ensures you have the most secure system possible
at any given time.
The Invoice Quick Application.
We’ve already mentioned that security is fundamental to our design and development processes. Our previous work with Blue Chip companies has taught us how to design and architect complex systems with security as the prime consideration. Of course, if you really want to get into the technical nitty gritty, our development team would be delighted (they’re true techies tho!) to discuss design and security hot topics with you.
